Approved for breeding by the American Trakehner Association (ATA), the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society (CTHS) and the Canadian Sport Horse Association (CSHA).
Bond James Bond is the first approved son of highly talented dressage stallion Oskar II *Pg*, out of Barina by Graditz *E* x Peron *Pg*. From his Sire’s Russian World Class lineage to his Dam’s Premium and Olympic bloodlines, this athlete holds an impressive pedigree. Bond’s Sire, Oskar II *Pg* was imported from the famous Kirow Stud in Russia and shown successfully in Dressage up to Grand Prix Level! His Dam’s Sire, Graditz *E*, a Premium stallion whose reputation precedes him and his Great Grand Sire, Peron *Pg*, the highest scoring stallion in Olympic history, also a winner of an Olympic Bronze Medal in 1996.
BOND was approved at the 2008 stallion inspection in Maine (USA) by the American Trakehner Association, impressing the spectators and judges with his undeniable stallion presence. Bond scored a 9 for Type! Comments from the inspectors: Bond James Bond MB has both very good Trakehner and stallion type. Nobility, masculinity and harmony of body parts are exemplary in this stallion. His frame illustrates the desired strength in the top line. The shoulder is good. Saddle position is obvious. Bond had a fairly good walk with a four-beat rhythm. At the trot, he uses his joints well. The result was a gait that showed lightness, suspension, impulsion and engagement. Likewise, his canter had impulsion but could have had slightly more freedom in the shoulder. In his free jump phase, his front leg technique was good. Overall, Bond James Bond MB is a noble stallion, showing the desired "stallion presence". In-hand temperament is good.
Bond James Bond has been chosen to represent the trakehner breed in the book "The Official Horse Breeds Standards Guide", published in 2009 and written by Fran Lynghaug (page 646).

Khokkey (Hockey)Khokkey is the proud father of more than 40 international competitors, like the stallion Prints Finest and Lowelas in Europe. The combination of a good amount of thoroughbred and arabian blood, over a solid maternal trakehner damline is a popular and proven recipe in Russia. The result is that the russian Trakehner studbook is widely represented in all three Olympic disciplines - more than any other studbooks worldwide. Khokkey is the grandsire of famous Biotop as well as of Almox Prints, who competed twice at the Olympic Games (Seoul and Barcelona). |

Peron *Pg*Peron *Pg* was approved at the 1986 Neumünster (Germany) licencing and later imported to Canada by Guenter Bertelmann, to stand at stud at the Ahrensberg Trakehner Horse Farm, until 1988. Peron *Pg* was then moved to Wonderland Farm in Pennsylvania for the 1988 breeding season. In 1989, he went to Georgia where he stood at stud for his owner, Carol Meyer-Webster, up until 1993. He was not active as as reproductive stallion for many years, mostly due to his busy training and showing schedule in Germany. During his journey in Germany, along with his rider Michelle Gibson, he was trained by Rudolf Zeilinger. All three together, they met a lot of success on the International circuit in dressage before coming back in United States in 1996 for the Olympic Games. After securing the Team Bronze medal for USA, Peron *Pg* went back to his breeding stallion career. In 1998, he flew back again for Germany, where he was ridden and trained by Ann Kathrin Ehlen, one of Zeilinger's students. Somewhere in 1998, Carol Meyer-Webster sold the stallion to Hermann Trosscher, who briefly retires Peron from competition and tries to use him exclusively for breeding purposes. But in 1999, he was back again to showing, again with lots of success, until his tragic death from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. |
